Father in heaven,
I commit the children and youth in this nation [Singapore] into Your hands.
They are young and vulnerable. So Father, protect them from evil. Do not let these little ones be led into sins. Keep them from worldly and evil influences that work through music, video, books, games and other means. If sinners entice them, I pray they will not consent to it. Cause them to walk among the wise and to choose their friends carefully.
I tear down strongholds and destroy the works of Satan that stood against them. Woe to those who try to lead them astray.
Lord, I declare they shall choose the fear of the Lord and despise not your counsel and rebuke. Let wisdom, knowledge and understanding rest upon them to discern good from evil.
At home, they shall choose to honour their parents; obedient and open to correction and discipline. In school, they shall respect their teachers and kind to their friends. They shall be diligent and focused in their studies and not be distracted by handphones and digital media. They shall have the discipline and self-control to put it down for the more important things in life.
I pray also for their health. Lord, protect them from sickness, accident and death. Keep their mind and emotions healthy too. Free them from the filth and ungodly values so prevalent in this present evil age.
Father, bless the children and youth in this nation. Let them come to Thee. Let a whole generation of young people follows after Your Son Jesus. Use them to preach the good news to their families and friends.
