Almighty God,
The God of Israel, I pray for the Jews whom You love on account of the patriarchs. Though Israel has experienced a hardening in part, You will have mercy on them for Your gifts and calling are without repentance. May You move the Church to love the Jewish people and to fulfill the great commission so that when the full number of gentiles has come in, all Israel will be saved!4
I am against the religious spirits that dominate Israel. I reject and destroy them together with the three spiritual forces of humanism, Marxist-Socialist philosophy and the spiritual inheritance of the Ottoman Empire. I break the strongholds of religion, pride and wickedness that seek to control Israel. I release the Israelites to see Jesus as the Messiah.
May You also cause more Palestinian Arabs to come to faith in Christ and embrace God’s end-time purpose for Israel. Lord, send forth labourers to bring in the appointed harvest from the whole of the Middle East.
Now I pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Show Your loving-kindness toward Israel and remember Your covenants and promises towards them. When the enemies rise up against her to swallow her alive, when their wrath is kindled against Israel, the waters will not overwhelm her. God will not give her as prey to their teeth.
Lord, destroy and divide the tongues of those who incite violence against Israel. Bring their council and plans to nothing and make them of no effect. I declare that God’s purposes for Israel will be completely fulfilled and that the Almighty will be glorified. May You deal swiftly and justly with the enemies that confront them.
May You raise up intercessors for Israel and put more watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem so that You may establish Jerusalem and make her the praise of the earth!
I pray for the government leaders and those in authority in Israel. Grant them wisdom to govern this great nation and how to deal with the current situations in Middle East. Let these leaders seek peace and unity, and not division in the land. I pray that in the midst of pressures and conflicts, the God of Israel will help and strengthen them. For You are gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love and faithfulness.
Father, may You continue to bless Israel with abundance and prosperity. Bring the necessary seasonal rain upon the country and cause the crops to be bountiful. Bless the economy and show forth Your mercy and grace to this nation.
I also pray for the Christians in Israel to become united, strong and mature. May they continue to pray and labour without fainting to reach fellow Jews for Christ. Lord, encourage their hearts and strengthen them in every good word and deed as they proclaim the truth. May You also send forth more labourers and raise up pastors and leaders who will teach and train those who are coming to faith in Jesus Christ.
Praise God that even at this present time You have chosen a remnant by Your grace. Thank you Father for your mercy and loving-kindness towards Israel.
